Training shoes and suitable clothing must be worn in the gym and exercise studio. Our guided walks take place in all weathers and suitable footwear and outdoor clothing should be worn. We provide bathrobes, towels and hairdryers.
How old do you have to be to go to Stobo?
Children under the age of 14 and pets are not permitted at the Castle except assistance dogs. Children over the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Stobo Castle Health Spa will remain open to guests and members and we will continue to operate as normal. We are doing our upmost to ensure that Stobo Castle remains a safe place for guests to join us and for our employees to work.

Service and Facilities Service is friendly and willing, but with surprising gaps for a five-star destination – there’s no turn-down or room service. There’s a lovely, fondant-fancy drawing room for guests’ use, but not a drink in sight.

Our hotel grounds are a paradise for your pup with 25 acres of stunning grounds for dogs to explore off-leash. Pack a frisbee and watch your four legged friend run to their heart’s content. All we ask in return is to kindly respect other guests.
