WILMINGTON, NC (WECT ) – A made-for-TV movie filmed at Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach will debut this weekend. The Perfect Summer, starring Eric Roberts and Wilmington’s Sydney Penny (All My Children), will air Saturday, July 13 at 7, 9 and 11 p.m. on UpTV, which was formerly GMC.
