PAEA EOR Exams The Physician Assistant Education Association is an independent group that helps give guidelines and sets standards for PA education across the nation. One of the ways that they do this is via the End of Rotation exam, which is a 120 question examination given to students at the end of each rotation.
How hard are Paea EOR exams?
They were tremendously more difficult than my program’s exams during didactics, and even though I studied well, they were very, very difficult. Don’t blow off studying for them – you might have a bad time.
How long are PA EOR exams?
End of Rotation exams are divided into two 60-minute sections, with the option for a break in the middle. Accommodations may be given in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of time and a half (three hours plus a break) or double time (four hours plus a break), as determined by the program.

What is a passing EOR score?
Since the EOR exams were started the school has had a curve, that has been reduced year over year, that is added onto the score. Passing score is 70%, with remediation for failures as well, up to and including losing an elective and redoing the rotation.

The core end of rotation (EOR) exams are still the same: emergency medicine, family medicine, general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry & behavioral health, and women’s health. With these tools, there is some strategy when it comes to studying for these exams.
How long does it take to get EOR score?
The deadline for initiating an EoR is 6 weeks after the date of your test. The re-marking process can take between 2 to 21 days, depending on several factors including the number of sections requested for re-mark.
