Once you have traded for 8 shoggoth flesh, you can then make a statue as indicated by JEI. Congratulations! You now have an abyssalcraft statue.

In order to spawn a tamed Sacthoth, you need a ritual. This ritual is preformed like so in the screenshot. You then need to put it in a engender mob spawner along with 1 piece of coal and let it fuse for 16.6 minutes. You will then have the item to spawn your very own Sacthoth.

What is a shoggoth in Minecraft?
The Lesser Shoggoth attacks and preys on all passive mobs, Zombies, and Skeletons around it. The Lesser Shoggoth will spawn in a Shoggoth Lair, usually found near swamps or rivers. Upon collecting enough biomass, an Adult Shoggoth will spawn a Baby Shoggoth. Baby Shoggoths have 50 HP.
