The university recommends that students achieve a minimum average of 82 for consideration. However, a competitive QuARMS average should surpass 90 and include other considerations like extracurricular success, volunteering, and other positive attributes that will showcase an applicant’s personality.
Why did QuARMS change?
The Queen’s School of Medicine is increasing efforts to recruit Black and Indigenous students. This change to the QuARMS pathway is part of the work that the Faculty of Health Sciences is doing to make health professions education more accessible to historically underrepresented groups.
